Dreams........
Do they mean something?
Does anyone else have repetitive dreams?
Why do we dream about people that have passed.
And why do some of us remember our dreams?

I don't know if they mean anything but your timing is spot on.
It's 1am and I've just been woken by dreams/memories from my past but they're all twisted and wrong.
No idea why.
I often have dreams that occur in the same locaation but it's somewhere I've never been when awake?
I remember my dreams sometimes like this morning but not always.
Don't believe everything you think.
Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.
I'm exactly the same Phil. I'd love to know what it all means. Especially the repetitive dreams.
Describing them as twisted is a good description.
Mine are not quite nightmares but obscure and twisted.
that’s funny Phill because I dream of a house regularly. It’s a house I’ve never been in when awake, its always empty and has wooden floorboards. It’s an old house, a bit gothic but feels nice.
It’s always the same house, even if I have different views of it, I know it’s the same. The room I generally go in is a bedroom, with two windows, looking out over trees. It’s dark wood everywhere. Long staircases and a bit dusty. It’s also got secret doors that lead onto other rooms.
Anyone or am I going mad?
It’s a cruel beast that you feed…..
Ghost…Spillways
Glad I'm not alone on that one Darksky.
Mine is always outdoors in an area with large smooth rocks near the ocean.
No idea where or how I come to be there.
Don't believe everything you think.

And you’re sure you’ve never seen a picture of this place? A holiday brochure?
Although I suppose our brains are perfectly capable of creating scenery and even people.
I have racked my brains to think where I’ve seen this house. A picture, a film? But I know it’s totally make believe, my mind has totally created it. It’s just reoccurring.
It’s a cruel beast that you feed…..
Ghost…Spillways
No idea whatsoever.
It's entirely different to anywhere I've been or seen.
I could almost see your place from your description.
Don't believe everything you think.

Ha ha, you’ll be dreaming of it tonight.
It’s a cruel beast that you feed…..

I've been having really vivid dreams while we're away. A few nights ago I dreamt about my mum, she came home from being in an unknown location, she said that she hadn't died, there had been a mix up, but due to Covid it took ages to get it sorted out, so this was the first time she could get home. I think it was wishful thinking perhaps. The weird think was she had dyed her hair black with bright green underneath - nope, totally something she would never do. In the dream I was really happy to see her, but I did feel quite unsettled for quite a while after I woke up.
Last night I was renovating a really old terraced house, before I got it finished a family I know started trying to move in, I was really pissed off. It would be great if I could go back again in another dream and finish it off (minus the family).
I can totally relate to what many have expressed so far within this thread.
I often dream about places (and events) that are actually split between 2 or sometimes even multiple locations. Some of those dreams are often about certain places I've been in my past; some of which are actually long demolished (such as my dad's former workplace in Birmingham and my first respite unit I used to stay at back in 1990-91 which eventually closed down, and whose building was razed to the ground about 10 years ago).
I also had a very odd dream about the residential school I attended back in 1986-88 the night before last.
