I am really struggling to get to bed at night due to my checking habits. I saw a therapist 5 years ago for a dozen sessions that helped a little but the checks have got worse.
The checks include doors, plugs, lights, fire, morning alarm. I know I have done them and all ok but there’s always doubt in my mind that makes me check again in order. It can take me between 15minutes and 1 and half hours to get to bed. It’s worse when I have something on my mind or my wife is working nights.
The checks started around 13 years ago when my daughter was born.
I thought I would post after reading about the site in Tyson Fury’s book.
I would be grateful for any help or advice.
