Finally got all the presents under the tree, feeling so stressed until now because my spouse is so noisy!! And I think this will be my daughter’s last year believing sadly. She’s asked lots of questions this year. I told him to pipe down and he got upset.

Had a family party today and got my new tires. Tomorrow is another party. Phew feeling overstimulated already.

Merry Christmas to all, take care of yourselves. Hope my kitten doesn’t open all the gifts before morning!

Sadly it seems that some people are habitually noisy unnecessarily and sometimes even seem to get kicks from it, especially those with foghorn voices who habitually speak too loudly with seemingly no regard for others in their vicinity who aren't involved in their poxy loud conversations, in particular those having loud conversations on their phones in public places. Really drives me insane!

    Anyways, Seasons Greetings!

Eventually got the tree up at around 5 on Christmas eve. Unfortunately I couldn't seem to get it to stand up straight but it still looked pretty. Christmas day itself went well even though it was the first without my son at home, we had a couple of video chats which was lovely.

So a big sigh of relief and a promise to myself that next year I will be more organised.

    Well done catkins

My tree fell during the night, with thanks from our cat.
I lost two baubles and an angel casualty with one arm (which I have repaired).

But at least it happened just after the big day and not before or during it, and of course it will soon be time to put all the Christmas decs away for another year anyway.

I know cats (and dogs) can be pesky little creatures sometimes, who often seem to have a will of their own, but I'm sure deep down you still love your precious little moggy to pieces, no matter what.

Our star is like that Catkins…drunk and disorderly.

It’s a little too heavy and I can’t get it to stand straight on the top of the tree. So we’ve wedged it with a twig from the garden. Still not straight but it’s not worth bothering with now.

I do lencoboy, he's worth every calamity.

They make those stars too heavy for the spindly top of the tree. Why not try a one armed angel? It's bound to weigh less only having the one arm.
