That's lovely fishman.

Bless you Carnation, you’re pretty good at finding the right words yourself xx

Merci mon ami
I’m glad it went well, Fishman. Anxiety is nearly always on our shoulders I think, but it’s good your daughter was able to come along for support.
It’s always hard when the walks slow down, but sometimes that’s aging I guess. Even Chisum, he gets tired after a mile and he’s only 10; he’s young still in other ways. Heck, sometimes a long walk does me in too! Though I’ve been trying to keep up with physical therapy, as walking outside is not something I’d be happy to lose.
On the road of experience, join in the living day. If there's an answer it's just that it's just that way.

It's a sweet, sweet, sweet dream; sometimes I'm almost there
Sometimes I fly like an eagle, sometimes I'm deep in despair.
That was a lovely line Fishman and what a lovely thing to do Poppy.
Thank you Catkins, you're very kind And you Poppy
Lexie is an 'unofficial' rescue dog, so we don't know her exact age. Though the vet estimated 10 or 11 and that was 3 years ago. I don't think she's 100% Lab either, she's a bit too short in the leg and muzzle a little too pointed.
She's obsessive about her cuddly toys too and has to 'round them up'. I'm wondering if there's some border collie there. And she's all for me, which makes it worse in a way as it comes with a lot of responsibility.
