At what point shall I start to feed my runner beans. Its maybe too early? I have some tomato food left over from last year. Will that be Ok?

Best to check with fishman. I understood that tomatoes and beans don't get on with each other in the ground and the food may not be compatible darksky.
Yes keep your tomato feed for your tomatoes Darksky. Have you got any well rotted manure for sale in your locality? That's good for putting around beans if they're in the ground.

I'm on my 4th attempt on the beans. Strong winds and temperature dropping killed them all. Never happened before but I think we have a late start to the warmth.
Imo beans shouldn't need feed unless you want the presence of the fee-fi-fo-fum giant

I replanted beans direct into the tub this time and they've just sprouted.
Question about pansys. Last year I collected the seeds from some pansys and a friend started them off in her greenhouse for me. A couple of months ago they were about an inch high and she told me to plant them out. I did as instructed and they're still alive but haven't grown at all. Any ideas?
