Gorgeous Mrs.C you have lots of lovely colour, which we seem to be missing at the moment. Just waiting for stuff to bloom. If it wasnt for my Campanula and Fox Gloves there wouldn’t be much to look at.

Thanks darksky x
Although I have been down the garden centre otherwise it would it look less flowery.
I believe nature is about a month behind this year.
I was also wondering whether you got your lily of the valley darksky?
Well yes, I had a couple of leaves come up but there were no flowers. I had given up and Mr.D nicked the pot to start his rhubarb off. Then came the two leaves. He’s going to lift the rhubarb and plant out so he’ll have to be very careful with my LOtV.
So yes…..sort of

Lovely plants there Carnation!! Especially that clematis. I agree about stuff being behind, we've had that cold, dull spring.
Is that the Campanula you grew last year Darksky? My LotV has disappeared I think.

Well it's rooted darksky, that's the main thing.
It's still nippy at night fishman. It's not summer till I wear my shorts, and they are long ones anyway

Watering runner beans. Try to keep the compost in pots/growbags moist rather than wet. Slightly moist to the touch is about right. Make sure your beans are getting enough sun too, though with this spring/early summer there has been precious little.
Now is the time of year to sow biennials. Foxgloves, Honesty, Sweet Rocket, Sweet Williams etc.
