Oh dear. Teenagers...how old? Big difference between the younger and the older end of the spectrum.
Probably wouldn't advise getting them to do chores.......unless you want an even harder time of it!
Ask them what they want to do. How long are they staying? I reckon the way to get into a teenager's good books without them going wild, is just to treat them like adults...give them an appropriate amount of responsibility, and just a tiny bit more freedom than they are used to....careful though!
Good luck xxx

Hiya, this one is 14yrs. old, here for a long weekend accompanied by mum.
Better stock up on burgers and Coke? Wonder if he's a Hoody?
Give him a PC, a Nintendo DS, an Ipod, Playstation 3 and loads of cash and he wont be any trouble at all

You need to be able to interpret the 'grunts', 14 is the classic age when they begin.
Although teenagers are usually a pain in the @rse for parents and not always when they are visiting, so you may be lucky.
Girls - easy, shopping.
Boys- difficult but they like music (well that's what they call it anyway) they like computers, they like to download music, he will probably show you how to do it.
How about sport? Is there a local team you could all go and see? Any gigs on ?
Failing that exactly as Kate said: DVD, Nintendo, playstation and loads of red bull, because they never sleep either .
Good Luck
You may need it.
Please come back and tell us how you got on.
I have a 17yr Daughter and 20 son, he's no longer a teenager !!! YES YES YES YES !!
