You must take comfort in the fact that MRI's are very accurate and if there was ANY chance of anything abnormal, you'd be back in a shot. Thing is we get ourselves so worked up preparing for these tests and going through them that when it's over, our brain is still working overdrive and needs to come back down to earth, which does take time. A couple of years I'd convinced myself (through Dr Google of course
) that I had MS and wanted an MRI. The results were clear (of course) but for weeks aftewards, I was so sure that they had made a mistake and missed something. I think this is a very normal human process we go through so just give yourself time and relax - your results are CLEAR
Are you sure this isn't a form of a migrane headache?
Migranes don’t always mean headaches and pain. They can just be weird sensations with your eyes/vision. I used to get spots/funny patterns out of the corners of my eyes and sometimes lose part of my vision - really, really scary but they were all migranes though. Thinking about it now, I grew up with this and not once was I ever referred for an MRI scan – funny how things change when we get older and more knowledgeable (for the worse)
