I'm recovering from agoraphobia at the moment and am still very restricted as to what I can do and where I can go but everytime I do leave the house I HAVE to have a bottle of water with me. I started taking it along for practical reasons...when I felt the start of a panic attack come on it helped a bit to sip water. I always have it in my hand rather than in my bag, I think now it's just holding it that helps! If I go out without it, I freak out and have to come back straight away...it's like my safety blanket lol. Sounds a bit odd really, does anyone else do something similar? xxx
