ive tried for over 6 months off and on to get into chat, i have folloewd what ross has said and same thing nothing, says i need java i have java i have the upgraded java and also have this site as trusted , have any suggestions? thnaks, hope alls well, linda

Hi Linda. Sorry you are having trouble getting into chat.

Click this Link. It will verify that Java is installed correctly on your computer (it will tell you just down the page a little).


Could you please reply here with;

• Version Number of Java
• Version number of Browser (usually found in Help > About (on the menu bar at the very top))
• Version of Windows (XP, Vista etc).

Sounds like you have a firewall set up that is blocking it - try turning that off
