I've just ordered this:

Appears to be a decent product and reasonable cost for 6gs a day lasting one month.

HI,
Can you take this with anti depressants? also can u take vit b12 with anti depressants? thanks lynne
Hi Lynne,
Yes its o.k. to take with anti-depressants and so it B12...those vits are good for nerves. Hope you doing o.k....

Some people take inositol instead of anti-depressants but it would need to be a large dose (probably). Doses of 6g or higher tend to give me the poopie doopies after a few days.
There is no evidence to show that inositol reacts with SSRIs so it is safe to combine them.

What would you do if you weren't afraid?

what a great theard on inositol will give this a try
Hi PsychoPoet. Thanks for a great guide.
I wanted to ask you do you have any information about whether it is OK to take
inositol at the same time as taking St John's Wort? I've read conflicting information on the web and am not sure
Thanks
PS I've noticed you can get a kilo tub of inositol (with a certificate of analysis) off eBay for 30 pounds delivered (I've just ordered one).
You will always get conflicting reports on the internet .So its advisable to consult your GP before taking combined natural /alternative medicines ..Would like to add in my opinion you would be best to take the Insitol first and see how you get on with the dosage ,That way if you have s/e you will know what is causing it ,You can then ammend dosage as and if required .You may find you dont need anything else .These and SJW can cause side effects .and can take a while to be completely effective .
