Periods & Ibs..

Anyone get Ibs symptoms while having their period? I think I have it, my stomach feels achy (not period achy) and I feel sick.. Hate periods so much.

Hi ive suffered this for years as soon as my period due my bowel starts to spasm and cos pain.My sis gets this as well .hope this helps kind regads molly

yeah i do too from about 10 days before my period is due.

Yep, same here - there is a really strong link between periods and IBS. Often people will only suffer at the wrong time of the month and are fine the rest of the time.

do you get pain after your period say towards the end, i do.

Yeah my period is over and I'm still having ibs pain. Think it's cause the Anziety.
