Lofepramine anyone?

still here on 35mg am 35mg pm, managed to watch a bit of tv with youngest for half an hr on sunday afternoon - evening wasnt good, Monday got stuff done in work - evening was terrible, yesterday was very active most of day and quite good night manic only 1mg of loraz at 6 and in evening as i felt i could have stayed on pc all night looking at holidays etc.. defo needed a zopiclone to sleep. so ive ben more like 2 to 2.5 mg of loraz on lower doze 140 i was struggling on 3.5 - 4 mg. made appt with doc next week to say im not going back to shrink who has no plan for me. been managing about almost an hr per day mindfulness. today statred okay but early afternoon felt as bad as ever maybe coming down te loraz and zop too quick.

So you're going to forge your own path with the aid of your GP? Seems reasonable given the psychiatrists lack of interest.

This is likely the reason. I'd hold off making any significant dose changes until the AD is working well. You've almost definitely become dependent to both the lorazepam and zopiclone so a few more weeks won't matter much. When the time comes switching to long half-life BZD such as diazepam (Valium) and weaning off it is a better option than trying to wean off lorazepam directly.
