Are these things a common throat thing?

When i drink liquids i feel like it's not going to go down or isn't going down or i am going to choke on liquids it feels like there's a massive lump obstructing the throat or back of the mouth, It makes me paranoid i presume it's Globus Hystericus?

My throat feels very tight all the time like someone has their hands on my throat and there always seems like a lot of salive/phelgm at the back of my mouth.

Hello eggy. I have this right now been to docs today with a list of bproblems broke down crying. The lovely doc checked my throat said it was fine a little red as I'm just getting over a throat infection but no swelling etc. You have just described my syptoms perfectly and the doc says its anxiety. Hope you feel better soon x

Thanks for replying Sammi and i am really sorry to hear about your situation.

I feel like i am swallowing a stone every time i swallow, Sometimes i struggle to even swallow, I swallow more too because of it and my throat hurts and is quite sore a lot, It just feels odd and annoying.

Hi Nicola i am suffering really bad at the moment with this and acid. Reading your words has for the first time in a while made me feel calmer. I have been to the doctors and she says its all anxiety related and to keep taking the tablets. Just hope they kick in quicker. many thanks again. Jayne
