It's not my preferred way of living fishman, lol, I said it as a joke but who knows, that might be where we end up

    Thank you, Catkins and Lenco.

I’m sorry you still have to deal with the stress of finding a new place to live, Carnation. That unsettled, unknowing feeling can be really difficult. It sounds like you are being proactive, though! Mr. C is probably right, it will work itself out one way or another, even though it’s hard to relax and just trust the process.

If it weren’t for severe weather, I’d live in a van or a camper somewhere, lol. Pick up and move whenever you want, or go on a little trip.

    Absolutely Fishman.

I used to love the 'Read It Yourself' series, where the logo and story title lettering were printed in a single colour per title on a black background on the front cover (e.g, 'Three Little Pigs' in yellow, 'Red Riding Hood' in orange, etc) with an illustration relevant to the story concerned printed at the bottom.
I often received them for Christmas.

I also used to collect the Mr. Men series of books as a kid too, of all the 'classic' characters up until the mid 80s.

    Yes, innocent days indeed.

They certainly were innocent Lenco, especially by comparison with now.

A day to quickly forget regarding anxiety today. I just feel like I'm trying to balance plates on top of spinning sticks

You could call it that Carnation. Hugs back at ya

I could really do without this funeral coming up on Tuesday. On my walk there's a couple of ladies who I've got to know a little. They know about my Dad and started asking about how I was, but I had to shut it down or I'd end up bawling in public.

It's early days fishman. And another funeral is too soon in your eyes. Find solace in your garden, it's the perfect time for being there. And stop being so hard on yourself, you're doing just great (even if you don't think so).

I don't know about that, I'm really suffering with hay-fever and I'm a bit of wimp when it comes to anything to do with health matters. It actually feels like I have the flu, I'm sweating and shivery and if it wasn't for the pain over my eyes then I'd think it was that.
