A thought is harmless unless we believe it.
It seems that anyone in the public eye is fair game for weight shaming with a side serving of the "be kind" platitude.
RIP Terry Hall.
I'm not a Cov kid by birth but the city adopted me, and I love the place. I spent a year or so working in the archive at the Transport Museum behind the galleries listening to Ghost Town on a loop.
I didn't know much about The Specials when I came to the city, but their amazing music and their angry humanism really chimed with me when I began to learn about them.
Feeling a tiny bit lost.

Oh no! This does make me sad.
Oh this is sad. We are always singing Thinking of you. I didn’t realise he was in fun boy three, I loved them too.
I think the song 'Ghost Town' certainly reflects the zeitgeist of the past couple of years; firstly the Covid lockdowns in 2020 and early 21, and now the COL crisis, even though that song (and that particular genre in general) seems rather tame compared to a lot of today's grime and drill music, which ironically doesn't seem to be as memorable nor carry quite the same weight IMO and tends to get lost in the ether.
Oh no! I'm shocked by this news.
