    Dizziness or feeling off kilter

I periodically get this feeling like I'm dizzy but the room does not spin, I just feel like I'm imbalanced, like I'm on a slant. It's very disturbing. Usually it only lasts a few moments but last night it lasted several hours. I'm quite concerned about it. Of course I am convinced now that I have a brain tumor. I'm sure the 4 cups of coffee I had yesterday had nothing to do with it. But it's very scary. I'm worried it could be a stroke or an aneurism. Does anyone else have this problem? I have sufferred with anxiety symptoms for years, and have had this in the past but I just cannot shake my fears.

Yep - very common, there are 2 other posts about this just today.

I had it for over 2 years and it is hard to get rid of.

It is not a brain tumour or a stroke - it is anxiety I am afraid.

Hi, I had that really bad when I returned to work and was still very anxious. As soon as I got out of the car I felt unbalanced, like I was on a slope, and even at my desk I was convinced the office was on a slant!!!

So, its quite normal! Hope it gets better for you soon [^]
